Memory, re-enactment and repair are key concerns in my current practice and were the focus of my Professional Doctorate in Fine Art, which I completed in 2014. I have enjoyed some success exhibiting in the last few years including solo exhibitions in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and London and international group exhibitions. In 2012 I was one of seven leading Scottish artists, working in print, selected for Reflective Histories: Contemporary Art Interventions at Traquair and commissioned to make sculpture works, which were sited in the gardens of Traquair House. In 2013 I curated One Way or Another II at the Smart Gallery, Aberdeen. Other recent exhibitions include Process & Possibilities, 2017, which I curated for Edinburgh Printmakers and Damaged Armour, a solo exhibition of sculpture works at Eastbury Manor House, London in 2018. I completed an Interdisciplinary Residency at Hospitalfield in 2018, which was supported by Creative Scotland’s Open Project fund.
I have over twenty years experience as an art educator, working across both Fine Art and Design practice.
