Memory, re-enactment and repair are key concerns in my current practice and were the focus of my Professional Doctorate in Fine Art, which I completed in 2014. I have enjoyed some success exhibiting nationally and internationally in the last few years including a solo exhibition Wild Lament, which was shown at the Foyer Gallery, Aberdeen in 2012. I was also one of seven leading Scottish artists, working in print, selected for Reflective Histories: Contemporary Art Interventions at Traquair in 2012 and commissioned to make sculpture works, which were sited in the gardens of Traquair House. In 2013 I curated One Way or Another II at the Smart Gallery, Aberdeen. Other recent exhibitions include Process & Possibilities, which I curated for Edinburgh Printmakers and The Tempest, at the AVA gallery, University of East London, where I exhibited small paintings.

I have over twenty years experience as an art educator, working across both Fine art and design practice and, currently, I teach Art and Design at the University of East London on the undergraduate and Professional Doctorate programme.
